We are dedicated to ensuring your experience on the Sessionz Mobile App and Website (referred to as the “Platform”) and all our services is enjoyable and rewarding. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to maintaining transparency and safeguarding individual privacy. This Privacy Policy aims to inform users about our general approach to collecting, using, and sharing user information through the Website. Information We Collect
We request and collect the following personal information about you when you utilize the Sessionz Platform. This information is essential for the proper execution of the agreement between you and Sessionz, as well as for our compliance with legal obligations. Additionally, it enables us to enhance your user experience on the Sessionz Platform. Without this information, we may be unable to provide you with all the requested services. Please note that the collection of this personal information is necessary for the proper functioning of the Sessionz Platform, compliance with legal obligations, and to enhance your overall user experience.
- Information You Give to Us (For Host Users)
- Account Information: When you create or update your Sessionz account, we collect certain information from you. This includes your name, email address, and phone number. Additionally, we may require you to provide additional details such as your country of residence, city, time zone, gender, and date of birth. These pieces of information are essential for Sessionz to verify contact information, screen users based on location, and enforce our policy of not allowing users under the age of 18 to become hosts on the Sessionz Platform. You may also be asked to provide optional information such as a personal description, links to your personal website and social media accounts, and specify your interests and accreditations. Some of this information, as indicated in your Account settings, will be displayed on your public profile page and visible to users with a “Clients” account on the Sessionz Platform.
- Identity Verification Information: To create a trusted environment, we may collect identity verification information, such as images of your government-issued ID, passport, national ID card, or driver’s license (as permitted by applicable laws), or other authentication information. This information allows Sessionz and/or Third Party Background Check Providers to conduct background checks, which may include checking criminal records where permitted by law. The collection of Identity Verification Information is mandatory to comply with relevant laws, such as anti-money laundering regulations, and to facilitate fund transfers to hosts.
- Listing Information: When you create a listing on the Sessionz Platform, we may request additional information from you. This may include details, descriptions, and attributes about your listing, such as rates and preferences, as well as your qualifications and experience. You may also be asked to upload multimedia content and specify the location where the session or event will take place, along with any relevant location notes. This information is shared with clients when you accept a booking or when a client user registers for an event. The location and location notes are kept private unless the session or event is marked as “Confirmed” or “Upcoming.”
- Payout Setup and Banking Information: To facilitate the transfer of funds to hosts, we require certain financial information, such as your bank account details. This information is necessary for processing payouts to hosts through Third Party Payments Providers (such as Stripe, Inc.) and to ensure compliance with applicable laws, including anti-money laundering regulations.
- Demographic Data: We may collect demographic information about you through user surveys or receive demographic information from third parties.
- User Content: When you contact Sessionz for reporting issues, customer support, or provide ratings or compliments for hosts, we may collect the information you submit as user content.
- Information You Give to Us (For Client Users)
- Account Information (For Clients): When you create or update your Sessionz account as a client, we collect certain information from you. This includes your name, email address, and phone number. Additionally, you may be required to provide additional details such as the country where you reside, city, time zone, gender, and date of birth. These pieces of information are necessary for Sessionz to verify your contact information, screen users based on location, ensure that individuals under the age of 18 do not have a “Client” account on the Sessionz Platform, and ensure that the date/time of bookings and events display time based on your preferred time zone. You may also be asked to provide optional information such as a personal description, links to your personal website and social media accounts, and specify your interests. Please note that some of this information, as indicated in your Account settings, will be part of your profile page and visible to host users on the Sessionz Platform with whom you have interacted through requests, bookings and event registrations.
- Identity Verification Information: To maintain a trusted environment, we may collect identity verification information, such as images of your government-issued ID, passport, national ID card, or driver’s license (as permitted by applicable laws), or other authentication information. This information allows Sessionz and/or Third Party Background Check Providers to conduct background checks, which may include criminal record checks where permitted by law.
- Payment Information: In order to utilize certain features of the Sessionz Platform, such as bookings, event registrations or making payments, we may require you to provide certain financial information, such as your credit card details. This information is necessary to facilitate payment processing through our trusted payment service providers such as Stripe, Inc.
- Communications with Sessionz: When you communicate with Sessionz, we collect information about your communications, including messages and reported issues, device details as well as any additional information you choose to provide. Sessionz relies on tihs information to investigate and resolve any technical issues that are reported.
- Demographic Data: We may collect demographic information about you, including through user surveys. In some cases, we may also receive demographic information from third parties.
- User Content: When you contact Sessionz for reporting issues, customer support, or provide ratings or compliments for hosts, we may collect the information you submit as user content.
- Information created when you use our services
- Location Information: Depending on the Sessionz services that you use, and your app settings or device permissions, we may collect your precise or approximate location information as determined through data such as GPS, IP address and Wi-Fi.
- If you are a Host, Sessionz collects location information when the Sessionz app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on screen) of your device. We do this for statistical monitoring, allow for appointment event reminders and allow navigation to the location of a confirmed session booking.
- If you are Client and have provided permission for the processing of location data, Sessionz collects location information when the Sessionz app is running in the foreground. In certain regions, Sessionz also collects this information when the Sessionz app is running in the background of your device if this collection is enabled through your app settings or device permissions. We do this for statistical monitoring, allow for relevant distance based content display, search and filtering capabilities, appointment event reminders, and navigation to the location of confirmed bookings.
- Transactional Information: We collect transaction details related to your use of our services, including the type of services you requested or provided, your request details, , date and time the service was provided, amount charged, and payment method. Additionally, Sessionz may offer promotion codes and use your personal promotion code to associate your name with that person.
- Usage Information: We collect information about how you interact with our services. This includes information such as access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and third-party sites or service you were using before interacting with our services. In some cases, we collect this information through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. We use this information for statistical monitoring, system stability and improve the user experience of the Sessionz Platform.
- Device Information: We may collect information about the devices you use to access our services, including the hardware models, device IP address, operating systems and versions, software, file names and versions, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, serial numbers, device motion information, and mobile network information. We use this information for troubleshooting, statistical monitoring, and improve the user experience of the Sessionz Platform.
- Communication Data: We may enable Clients to communicate with Hosts through the Sessionz app, websites, and other services. For example, we enable Clients and Hosts, to call or text each other (in some countries, without disclosing their telephone numbers to each other). To provide this service, Sessionz receives some information regarding the calls or texts, including the date and time of the call/text, and the content of the communications. Sessionz may also use this information for customer support services (including to resolve disputes between users), for safety and security purposes, to improve our products and services and for analytics.
- Information from other sources: This may include
- User feedback, such as ratings or compliments
- Users providing your information in connection with referral programs
- Users or others providing information in connection with claims or disputes
- Sessionz third party service through which you create or access your Sessionz account, such as payment providers, social media services, or apps or websites who use Sessionz’ APIs or whose API Sessionz uses (such as when you navigate to the location of a scheduled and confirmed session through Google Maps)

- In order to provide certain Sessionz products, services, and features, we may need to share your information with other users or as per your explicit request. This includes sharing relevant details to facilitate bookings, requests, and interactions between Hosts and Clients.
- Sharing with Affiliates, Subsidiaries, and Business Partners
- We may share your information with our trusted affiliates, subsidiaries, and business partners. This may be done for various reasons, including legal requirements or in connection with claims or disputes. Rest assured that such sharing is conducted in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
- Sharing from Hosts to Clients
- As a Host, the information you enter when creating a listing will be shared with Clients. This information, known as “Host Public Information,” is visible on the listing’s page and includes details such as the Title, multimedia content, Rate, Descriptions, and any additional information you choose to share. Please note that some information may only exposed to Client User who have paid for a session or event. This includes sharing the session or event’s location or livestream UR, and Host Notes.
- Your Host Profile information, such as your name, profile photo, bio, education, experience, qualifications, and online presence, may also be shared with Clients. Additionally, if you have other listings, we may provide links to those sessions, events and other listings you have created.
- Email Notifications to Clients
- As a Host, we may send email notifications to Clients regarding requests, bookings, event registrations and other relevant activities. These notifications may contain Host Public Information and Private Host to Client Information. Our aim is to deliver a positive user experience and keep you informed throughout the process.We value your privacy and take appropriate measures to protect your information. Please note that any information shared between Hosts and Clients is done with the purpose of facilitating seamless interactions and enhancing your experience on the Sessionz platform.
- Clients to Hosts
- When you, as a Client, request services from a Host, we may share certain information with the Host to facilitate a seamless experience. This information, referred to as “Client Information,” includes your first name, age, email address, the purpose of the session you’re requesting, your preferred session language, and any comments you add to your request for the Host’s consideration. For events, your first name, is shared.
- To ensure privacy, we attempt provide a masked version of your phone number to the Host. This is known as “Private Client Information,” and it allows the Host to contact you while maintaining your confidentiality.
- As part of our commitment to providing a positive user experience, we send email notifications to Hosts regarding requests, bookings, registand other relevant activities. These notifications may contain Client Information and Private Client Information to facilitate effective communication between you and the Host. Please be assured that we prioritize the security and protection of your personal information throughout this process. We strive to maintain the confidentiality of your data and ensure that it is shared only for the purpose of enabling a smooth interaction between Clients and Hosts on the Sessionz platform.
- With All Members and the General Public
- When you communicate with us through Sessionz blogs, social media platforms, or by contacting us directly, please note that your communications may be viewable by the public. We may use these communications to create and publish success stories, tips, and other content for the purpose of sharing valuable information across social media channels and marketing campaigns. Rest assured, we will handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
- With Sessionz Service Providers and Business Partners

- In order to process payments made by Clients and facilitate payout processing for Hosts, we may share relevant information with trusted payment processors and facilitators.

- For users participating in the Verified User Program, we may collaborate with background check providers to conduct necessary checks to enhance safety and security.

- We partner with reliable cloud storage providers to securely store multimedia files associated with our platform.
- Marketing partners and marketing platform providers:
- We may share information with trusted marketing partners and platform providers to assist in promotional activities and marketing campaigns.

- To analyze and gain insights from user data, we may collaborate with data analytics providers who help us improve our services and user experience.

- Enforcement of Terms of Use and Agreements: We may disclose information to enforce and administer our Terms of Use or other agreements with Members.
- Protection of Rights and Safety: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Sessionz, its employees, its Members, or members of the public.
- If you use another person’s credit card, we may be required by law to share information with that credit card holder, including purchase information. Additionally, in certain circumstances, we may need to share your information with third parties in connection with activities such as negotiations of mergers, sales of company assets, consolidations or restructurings, financings, or acquisitions involving our business. However, rest assured that we will take appropriate measures to protect your information during such processes. We will only disclose your information to the extent required or permitted by applicable law and will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any third parties involved in such transactions or activities adhere to strict confidentiality obligations.
- In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we strive to notify our Members about legal requests unless certain circumstances prevent us from doing so. However, there may be situations where providing notice is prohibited by the legal process itself, by a court order, or by applicable law. We may also refrain from providing notice if we believe that doing so would be futile, ineffective, pose a risk of injury or bodily harm to individuals or groups, or create or increase the risk of fraud on the Sessionz Platform and its Members. In cases where we are compelled to comply with legal requests without prior notice due to the reasons mentioned above, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected Member about the request after the fact, if appropriate and if we determine in good faith that we are no longer prevented from doing so. Our commitment is to uphold the privacy and security of our Members’ information to the extent permitted by law and to act in their best interests.

Social Media Platforms

It is important to note that the social media platforms with which we share your personal data are not controlled or supervised by Sessionz. Any inquiries regarding how your personal data is processed by your social media platform service provider should be directed to the respective provider.
We would like to emphasize that you have the option to request Sessionz to stop processing your data for these direct marketing purposes at any time. To do so, please send an email to support@sessionz.com. We will promptly address your request and ensure that your data is no longer used for such marketing activities.

Google Maps/Earth
Certain components of the Sessionz Platform utilize services provided by Google Maps/Earth, including the Google Maps API(s). Your use of Google Maps/Earth is governed by the Google Maps/Earth Additional Terms of Use and the Google Privacy. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these terms and policies to understand how Google processes and protects your information when you interact with the mapping services integrated into the Sessionz Platform.

Your Rights
Sessionz respects your rights regarding your personal information and provides options for managing and deleting your data. The following provisions outline how Sessionz retains and handles your information:
- Information Retention and Deletion
- User profile and other information will be retained for as long as you maintain your Sessionz account.
- Transaction, location, usage, and other information will be retained for a period of 7 years in compliance with regulatory, tax, insurance, or other legal requirements applicable to Sessionz’s operations. After this period, Sessionz will either delete or anonymize such information in accordance with applicable laws.
